Just Dance is an opportunity for womxn to do just that! Dance for fun. Dance to be with friends. Dance to move trauma through your body. Dance to get exercise. Dance to be free. Dance to be alone. Dance to be in community. It’s simple really.

About the event
A wide variety of music will be offered, and you as a person, are invited to move your body in whatever way you feel like to that music. Following 45 minutes of dancing, we will circle up and open the floor to anyone who has something to say. Sharing at this point is completely optional.
Wear comfortable clothes (or sexy clothes or flowy clothes or ugly clothes or whatever, you do you). Bring water and snacks for yourself.
Pay what is comfortable: $10-$20. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
Ages 16 and up.
*This event is designed to be a safe space for women, trans, and non-binary people to be in their bodies without the presence of the male gaze. Men are asked not to attend. Additionally, regardless of gender, anyone making others feel unsafe in the space will be immediately asked to leave. This is not a claim that men or “the male gaze” is intrinsically bad, but rather an acknowledgment that it exists and that its simple presence impacts the experiences of others.
